Through the leadership of the Office of the Treaty Commissioner, the City of Saskatoon and over 100 organizations that have since joined, the Reconciliation Saskatoon<\/a> group is helping to move our community forward on the path towards reconciliation. This collaborative group is making space in Saskatoon for this valuable work and is helping to create a community where everyone can find success.<\/p>\n However, work remains in this area. The calls to action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada remain as relevant and important today as they were when they were announced. In Saskatoon, we must create a more inclusive community that not only embraces diversity, but that draws strength from its diversity and all of the peoples that comprise it.<\/p>\n City Council\u2014through a motion made by Mayor Clark\u2014has also moved forward on addressing the Calls for Justice of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. By being deliberate and courageous, we can work to <\/span>build a stronger community<\/span><\/a> for everyone.<\/span><\/p>\n Through working collaboratively with our partners in Reconciliation Saskatoon\u00a0we will continue to play our part in this important work.
